Presence Ministry Statement of Faith

I) Bible
Throughout history men were used to write God's words. No original autographs exist and in English the Authorized Version (PCE) is the only inspired and perfectly preserved scripture available today; other languages have their own Bible. Middle-men are redundant for interpretation, as are intercessors for prayer. The Bible is sufficient (but not necessary) for salvation.

II) Church
The spiritual body of all born-again believers. As its head Jesus founded it not upon a man, but revelation He is the Christ. The only earthly offices of ministration are Elder and Deacon, both restricted to male persons. It shines as a permanent light attracting the world to God. During meetings the Lord's Supper is partaken of in remembrance of Him, also as a sign of His impending return.

III) God
A single, unified and indivisible eternal being, consisting of three distinct persons all equally God. These are the Father, the Word and the Holy Ghost.

IV) Creation
Time, heaven, hell, our universe and all living and non-living things inhabiting them have been created by God. As confirmed by Jesus, human beings have existed since the beginning of creation. The religion of evolutionism is false, its axioms scientifically untestable and diametrically opposed with supernatural creation and design by God the Creator.

V) Man
Adam was the first human being, and by disobeying God's commandment sinned and died spiritually. Every person descended from Adam is disconnected from God by his own evil deeds and cannot attain spiritual life from a meritorious system of works. Man's true visage is vile, marred and abhorrent. He deceives himself thinking otherwise.

VI) Salvation
Man is dead spiritually and in bondage to the devil. The only way to receive life is through faith in the Word as a perfect sacrifice on the cross for sin. He was killed by crucifixion, buried in a tomb for a full three days and three nights, then resurrected Himself in the end of the Sabbath. Eyewitness evidence places this event beyond reasonable doubt as historical fact. As the job of the Lord Jesus is to keep each true convert, their salvation can never be 'lost'.

VII) Judgment
All human beings are required to attend a judgment before God the arbiter to give an account of their life. Born-again believers will do so before Jesus Christ to have their works tested. Good deeds will be rewarded, evil destroyed by fire. Afterwards they will live forever in heaven with God in unimaginable glory. At the resurrection of the unjust the damned will be raised to a Great White throne judgment. They will be found guilty and thrown into the lake of fire for eternity to be burnt. They chose to ignore the commandment to repent.
