There is hope for you, dear sinner!
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6.23
God has made a way to escape the justice your sin cries out for; your iniquity was placed on his only-begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
"My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth." Psalm 139.15
This was done before you were even born in anticipation of the day you would be reading this.
"And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
I John 3.5
Jesus was a sinless man, and also being God his blood sacrifice was accepted by the Heavenly Father.
"And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission." Hebrews 9.22
God's blood was poured out on His cross of execution.
After a full three days and three nights in the tomb, Jesus resurrected himself from the dead. Then, after forty days of infallible proofs of His resurrection He ascended to heaven. Now at the right hand of the Father he sits as High Priest making intercession for the saints.
By confessing with your mouth (or other form of communication) that Jesus spoke the truth and He is Lord, and believing in your heart he rose from the dead your sins can be forgiven.
A prayer something along these lines may put in words what you now wish to say:
"Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner, worthy of death and am asking you now as my only hope to save me and be my Lord. I receive by faith alone the promise of forgiveness of my sins and eternal life."
Otherwise, make confession in your own words; God knows what is in your heart.
If the weight of sin feels lifted from your soul, you have been re-born by God's Holy Spirit and entered His everlasting Kingdom of life! If not something is in the way and you are still dead in sin; please click here.
We would love to hear from any new, born-again child of God, or tell a Bible-believing Christian you know what just happened:
"Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth." Luke 15.10
